Dear Sir,
Thank you for asking me about my photo, but I'm afraid I can't relly help you figure out what it meant if you don't already know. But, since you asked, I'll try to tell you about the photo and why I used the word providence when I sent it to you.
My grandson insisted I get the camera phone, and he taught me how to use it. That’s not providence, and neither is the fact that I was up at 2 in the morning (fact is, at my age, you have to get up at night a lot). Providence isn’t prepared for, we aren’t prepared for it. To say otherwise is to commit the sin of vanity--that‘s what I think. Providence just is, and the only proof of it I have is this photo on a camera phone I’d just learned how to use. Which is to say, I’ve got as little proof as I ever did, but it's real, and I felt it. Providence is what's
provided, it's a gift. That's what this was for me, and I suspect for you, too.
I’m glad you’re doing this, I guess--I mean, I’m sending the photo (My grandson explained how to do it. He thought it was great that I was sending something to the web.). But it won’t change anyone’s mind. There was this light, and I’ve got a picture of it. The two are hardly connected. I don’t live in Faith because I’m faithful, and I don’t have the photo because I felt God just then. Still, I thank you for asking, and I wish you luck in figuring this out for yourself.
